[Amelia's home, pacing back and forth. She had called Madigan over and well... she looks upset. And understandably so. It had been a while since she had seen either Thor or Loki and if her tracking spell was correct (and it took a hell of a long time to make sure it was right; she was dealing with the Trickster God after all), Loki was on earth-- but she was also following news and... WELP there was that incident in Germany that finally clinched it.

Amelia throws her hands up in the air in exasperation and some green magic seems to spark around her to match her mood.]

What the HELL does he think he's doing!?

[She mad.]

I... I don't know how I'll be able to face him should I choose to seek him out.

I don't know if I want to at this point. He's already been caught after all. And if I show up out of nowhere, it'll just make things more complicated.

I guess the only thing for it is to wait it out and see what happens.

... You know him better than I do- did you ever see this coming?

How long we have to wait is what I'm worried about... maybe I'll try calling Tony and see if I can glean anything from him, but it looks like he has his hands full as well.

... He was never quite stable you know. But around me it didn't seem like... I don't think I wanted to think that of him.

It's worth a shot. [ a frown ]

On some level, maybe we both should have seen this coming.

Maybe, what if, should have... it's too late now.

... I think I'll try seeing Loki though. I just... I can't just leave it like this.

I'm going to have to strengthen my wards around the town. Will you be alright? It's only going to get more dangerous from here.

I have Griff's wards. [ she gently touches the golden feather pendant hanging around her neck ] I'll be fine.

I don't think Thor would let anything happen to you either hm?

He's going to have his hands full enough without worrying about me.

He still would though. Worry about you I mean.

[griffonix]

I-- he has a big heart. [ she shrugs, looking away. ]

[A smile pokes through at that reaction]

Does he have yours?

[griffonix]

[ She actually goes a little pink at that ] What kind of a question is that?

[Really holding back a knowing smile now]

I don't know, I think I'm being rather direct.

[griffonix]

It's... complicated, okay?

Mm. I see. [She leaves it at that]

He'll definitely be all right though, don't you agree?

As for me... [She trails off, but it's obvious to who she was about to refer to]

[griffonix]

[ She glances at the TV, where various videos of Loki's showdown with Tony and... some other guy is being shown again, and again, and again. ]

You really care about him, don't you?

... I do. It's so stupid but I do.

[griffonix]

Honey... [ TIME FOR ANOTHER HUG.

Attempts to take over the world notwithstanding, she'll never forgive Loki for hurting her friend like this. ] The only one being stupid here is him.

You know, it's strange. Thor and I had a talk and he did ask if there was anything between the two of us. I was surprised because I hadn't exactly... thought about it that way.

[So basically Mads, the thing where you mentioned how Amelia wouldn't notice some things was right on the mark.........]

[griffonix]

... Maybe it's not too late.

Loki and I did talk. He appeared pretty suddenly out of nowhere. He wasn't happy that Thor was speaking about something that personal between us.

[Looking sheepish]

[griffonix]

What happened?

[recluserose]

Thor left and I pulled Loki aside so we could clarify things.

And we both agreed that there was something between us. [Her grip on one arm tightens.]

[griffonix]

[ Ah. That must doubly sting. ]

... Maybe you should go see him.
