[Advanced Placement tests are just around the corner and that means Amelia has to come home a little later than usual due to holding review sessions at school. It was one of the few times in her life where she felt like getting a migraine from having to go over lines from Paradise Lost or the symbols and language of Moby Dick, or the extensive relationship between the characters in Wuthering Heights.

Just ENOUGH already! She wanted to go home and rest peacefully as usual! But when walking up to her door and about to turn the knob, it hits her that going home isn't 'the usual' anymore.

For the first time in a long while she knows someone is waiting for her.

Not letting her tired and irate mood get to her, she enters.]

I'm home!

I definitely think it did.

[Laughs and lifting her face up to kiss him on one of his shoulders]

[spellbent]

Good. [ he tugs her closer for a proper kiss ]

[recluserose]

[It'll be a wonder if they can ever get out of bed at this point because she is just content to stay and kiss him right back and add a little heat to it.]

[spellbent]

[ He chuckles a little, pulling away slightly ] Are you hoping for a round two?

[recluserose]

Only if you're up to it. [A challenge? Maybe.]

[spellbent]

What do you think? [ Not really an answer- his real answer is to kiss her, hard. ]

[recluserose]

[She's almost caught off guard by the intensity, but she fights back gasping into the kiss.

They are definitely not finished with each other anytime soon.]

[spellbent]

[ Nope, definitely not. They really might not ever make it out of bed- not that he would mind except for that need for, you know, food.

But food can wait because he's got her wrapped up in his arms again. He lightly kisses her shoulder, unable to stop smiling. ]

[recluserose]

[She's definitely worn out and possibly has reached her limit at this point. But if there's one plus (besides the obvious) she's getting plenty of rest in between.

The kiss on her shoulder makes her eyes flutter open]

... Do we even know what time it is anymore?

[spellbent]

The real question is do we care? I know I don't.

[recluserose]

[She stretches and summons the strength to sit up using some sheets to cover herself. She's still in a daze somewhat since it's been a long while since she's done this]

We can't stay here forever.

[spellbent]

I guess not.

[ He props himself up on an elbow, taking a moment to admire her curves before glancing at the clock. ]

Hm, well, we could always go out. Unless of course you wanted to stay in.

[recluserose]

My backup should be gone after everyone's emptied the school. People will assume I'm working after hours, so it's probably better we stay in.

I'd like to take a bath though.

[spellbent]

Would it be too presumptuous of me to ask to join you?

[recluserose]

Not at all. I am spending my whole day with you.

[spellbent]

You are still allowed your alone time, you know. [ not that he wants to let her go right now, but still ]

[recluserose]

[That reply makes her fall quiet and she turns to face him with her head resting on her knees]

... Warren, I've been alone for a long time you know. Too long in fact.

[Half a century of seclusion, only a little over a year of feeling truly alive for the first time in her life and having that taken away from her. Then finally, slowly rebuilding her strength, little, by little all for the sake of that one person who wished only for her happiness.

And now? She really was happy, so much so that it almost made her heart ache. She bites her lip feeling overwhelmed and trying to hold back any tears.]

Thank you. Thank you so much.

[spellbent]

[ He sees that look on her face, and tears or no tears, he knows what it means. He sits up, and pulls her into his arms. ]

I would do anything for you, Amelia.

[recluserose]

[His embrace brings a smile to her face (she had been doing that a lot lately and it was strange) and she settles into it relaxing.]

You've done more than enough.

[spellbent]

[ Warren has always been patient and diligent and devoted- and now, having thrown everything else away, he's devoted solely to her. When he says he'd do anything for her, he means it. ]

I love you.

[recluserose]

[It's as if all she needs at that very moment to live on were those words and him at the same time. She leans against him closing her eyes murmuring back]

I love you too.

[spellbent]

[ He's perfectly happy to hold her like that for a while, fingers occasionally combing through her hair ]

[recluserose]

... Mm.

I hope this makes up for making you wait?

[spellbent]

You know I would have waited for as long as it took.

... Not that I'm complaining, mind. [ he grins a little, kissing the top of her head ]

Would you really?

Sometimes I think you're more patient than I am.
