[Advanced Placement tests are just around the corner and that means Amelia has to come home a little later than usual due to holding review sessions at school. It was one of the few times in her life where she felt like getting a migraine from having to go over lines from Paradise Lost or the symbols and language of Moby Dick, or the extensive relationship between the characters in Wuthering Heights.

Just ENOUGH already! She wanted to go home and rest peacefully as usual! But when walking up to her door and about to turn the knob, it hits her that going home isn't 'the usual' anymore.

For the first time in a long while she knows someone is waiting for her.

Not letting her tired and irate mood get to her, she enters.]

I'm home!

[A pleasant silence falls between them for a moment before she speaks up again asking shyly]

Do... you feel better?

[spellbent]

You honestly have to ask? [ He laughs a bit, pulling her close ]

... What changed your mind?

Like I said I just needed to think. I just came to the conclusion that I wasn't being fair to either of us.

In any case, it's not as if I hadn't thought about it since you came to stay with me.

[spellbent]

Mm. Good conclusion.

Now the question is, since I have you all to myself for the day, what am I going to do with you?

[recluserose]

[That will make her laugh nervously and blush]

I can leave that up to you?

[spellbent]

This is fine for now.

... I have to say I could get used to the idea of waking up next to you.

[recluserose]

Hm. I might selfish with bed space. [This is said jokingly]

But if we wake up like this I wouldn't mind as much.

[spellbent]

[ C'mere, Amelia. He wants a kiss. ]

[recluserose]

[Would she ever say no to one of these? I think not.]

[spellbent]

[ He pulls away a bit and just smiles at her- a real, genuine, just for her smile ]

Have I told you lately how much I love you?

I should be asking you that question instead. I don't say it enough for you.

[spellbent]

Well, I wouldn't mind hearing it.

[recluserose]

[Well then, shifting her position so she's on top of him again :>]

[spellbent]

[ He laughs a bit, running his hands over her back ] I love you too.

[She hums quietly resting her head on his chest and idly beginning to trace the pattern of his rune tattoos with one finger.]

[spellbent]

I hope you're not trying to activate that. [ he's joking- she probably couldn't anyway, what with the way their magics work ]

I don't think I ever asked about these... when did you receive these marks??

[spellbent]

God... I don't even remember when. It's been decades.

They're all defensive- it's a lot faster than having to write one out every time.

[recluserose]

Did it hurt?

[spellbent]

They're just tattoos, Amelia. I mean, it stung a little, but it wasn't like they were burned into me with magic or anything.

[recluserose]

Mm. They do look... beautiful though in a strange way.

[spellbent]

They've saved my ass more than once. I can't say how they look was ever really on my mind.

[recluserose]

[There's an amusingly studious look on her face as she examines the tattoos some more]

Well, I can look at them all I want now right?
