[Advanced Placement tests are just around the corner and that means Amelia has to come home a little later than usual due to holding review sessions at school. It was one of the few times in her life where she felt like getting a migraine from having to go over lines from Paradise Lost or the symbols and language of Moby Dick, or the extensive relationship between the characters in Wuthering Heights.

Just ENOUGH already! She wanted to go home and rest peacefully as usual! But when walking up to her door and about to turn the knob, it hits her that going home isn't 'the usual' anymore.

For the first time in a long while she knows someone is waiting for her.

Not letting her tired and irate mood get to her, she enters.]

I'm home!

I'm not going to ask you to do something you don't want to do, Amelia. I just... I guess I just want to let you know where I stand on this.

I'm not your house guest. I'm here because I want to be with you.

[recluserose]

[It takes her a while to answer because she's trying to keep her expression as natural as possible.]

I understand where you're coming from.

I've... just been giving myself time to think.

[spellbent]

Care to share those thoughts?

[recluserose]

[Something like this shouldn't be terrifying, but it is in a twisted way mostly because she's not sure WHAT she's terrified of.]

I've just been uncertain with myself. It's not you at all.

... I just need to rest now.

[spellbent]

All right, all right. I've said my piece.

Have a good night.

[recluserose]

Right.

[She runs a hand through her hair and lightly exhaling as she walks back into her own bedroom. Since Warren had taken up residence, she changed things around in her room as if reflecting the small changes she had to undergo. For one, there's no glowing rose in sight and all in all, it's actually neater not so cluttered with books. But it wasn't enough.

As she prepares for bed she stops to think.

Really, really, REALLY think.

The witch doesn't fall asleep right away. For some reason she doesn't feel tired and instead keeps her door slightly ajar and her ear open for him.]

[spellbent]

[ Warren doesn't take too long before heading for bed. He's a bit frustrated, truth be told, but he truly doesn't want to force her into anything.

He knows she has a lot of things to work through- they both do- but he's given up so much for her already. He just wishes they could move forward.

It doesn't take him long to get ready for bed, and he flops down with a sigh. ]

[recluserose]

[When you live by yourself a large majority of your life, the littlest noises can catch your attention. Amelia hears Warren retire to his room almost immediately. She silently stands up from her bed and lets her hair down. She's already dressed in a light night gown and exits quietly from her place and walks up to his door.

Needless to say, her heart is beating fast and she can only hope he doesn't sense her presence. She touches the door and it opens for her without making a sound.]

[spellbent]

[ He's not really sleeping, but he's fairly preoccupied, so he doesn't even notice the door opening in the dark. ]

[recluserose]

[Well, he may not notice that, but the next few things that occur would be difficult to ignore or not feel at all.

Those things being, a few light steps that are made going around the bed, the mattress sinking under the weight of a second person, that second person hovering over him and her hands and knees on either side of his body, and the light brush of long strands of hair against his cheek.

Someone has snapped.]

[spellbent]

[ He just sort of lies there a moment, staring at her as his eyes adjust to the dark.

He then reaches up, resting his hands on her hips ]

Am I dreaming?

[recluserose]

[There is this look in her eyes and quite frankly it looks determined.]

Warren.

I've been thinking.

[spellbent]

... And?

[recluserose]

[She leans in close to nibble at his lower lip, body sinking down just barely pressing up against his.

Whatever she thought about saying is suddenly lost.]

Never mind. I've had enough.

[And she finally closes the distance with a kiss that is steadily growing deeper and warmer.]

[spellbent]

[ Oh.

Oh.

He wraps an arm around her, pulling her close and kissing her back. His free hand remains on her hip, slowly trailing along her thigh. ]

[recluserose]

[Finally.

They've had their fare share of kisses, but the one from her is just fundamentally different at this very moment as if she's fervently and heatedly pouring every repressed feeling into it and letting him know that she is his and he was hers.

Now that they're close she shifts her body against him and one of her straps from her gown is starting to slip off of her shoulder.]

[spellbent]

[ He matches her, fervor for fervor and heat for heat. He's wanted this for a long time, and he can hardly believe it's happening now.

He makes a noise of encouragement somewhere in the back of his throat, as his hand moves back up her thigh and slips under her nightgown, following the contour of her rear. ]

[recluserose]

[When she feels his hand go underneath her dress, she immediately responds by slipping off what little undergarments she has, still continuing to kiss him.

She pulls away, although not very far to catch her breath, and to wordlessly return his touch by having her hands glide across his arms and then her fingers stroke his chest]

[spellbent]

[ He's shirtless, but that's how he always sleeps, his shoulders, back and chest peppered with tattoos of runes. He practically shudders at her touch, his eyes not once leaving her face- a very clear look of need in them.

He takes a quick moment to slip her nightgown off over her head. ]

[recluserose]

[It's all very convenient for her at least!

As the nightgown is tossed aside, the air creeps across her skin and makes her realize that this is the first time she's exposed to him in such a way and she almost pauses as if shy. But she resumes by placing gentle, teasing, and nipping kisses in other places besides his lips- chin, neck, shoulders, collarbone-

She would like to think of herself as thorough after all.]

[spellbent]

[ He smiles, taking a moment to enjoy what he sees, though any compliment he was about to give is cut off by a low moan as she kisses him.

She is very thorough, and he very much appreciates it. In the meantime, he'll try to be thorough with his hands as they travel up her back, over her shoulders, and down to cup her breasts. ]

[recluserose]

[She tries to to withhold her reaction from his hands on her chest, but a pleased sound escapes anyways as she starts tugging the edge of his pants downwards almost impatiently so.]

[spellbent]

[ Thankfully they're just pajama pants, and take no real effort to remove. He does so quickly, because frankly, he's tired of waiting. ]

[recluserose]

[She was tired of waiting too and she's glad she decided to buck up and take the initiative. There's a slight quiver of anticipation and before making another move, she leans in pressing her forehead against his and giving a sultry smile]

Surprised?

[spellbent]

[ He can't help but smile back. His voice is low and rough when he speaks ]

Pleasantly so.
